Just let the cultural and modern delights in Delhi sink in .That was what I did ! My sis Kala is made for plans and people getting together and workmon clockwork precision! And so the "HO-HO trip, the metro rail t rip and the car trip within a matter of few days !
The Diwani Am of the Red fort, the Parliament, Punjabi dhabas, Kerala temple, the Akshardam , the Lotus temple of the Bahais and the Taj ..What a melee of visions and visonaries ! In contradiction, our youngsters find for us new visions... food courts, 3 D films.multistoried fragile looking glass towers and not to forget - the metro rail .When has India not been in transition ?
But now, today is already history and the future. Never the present ! for the presence of the Present seems like a cascade.. water falls and is broken into myriad drops each reflecting a part of the world and space around. Its as though the Present is that drop which hangs in the air just at the point of dropping and making the past. Marvelling at the Taj, it is usual to say "The Time stands still" ! For me , that moment was not revealed . For I run helter skelter after the mirage of time ! In the Diwani am, the time seems hapless. where is all that glory ?.. Just like the hall, time is just a hollow shell of the snail out of which the snail has slowly moved away just leaving a shining trail for those who want to seek it.

In the well of the Parliament, time is counted for the visitors but the discussions in there are nullified often by the walkouts and time is lost !You come out of the Akshardam caves as though from time as a memorial and you meditate in the Lotus to seek the time that is eternal.
Yes Delhi cannot be seen without its backdrop of Time .that is why it delights there any one is a time travellersitting on timemachine which crosses many latitudes and longitudes.

Surface mails

Any surface area, anywhere has become a message post. The posts are of hardly any value... for example, names of children on the car windshields. What is the message behind this? that the children own the car? that if caught by the police , to contact these children?
Packaging for protection of the product now has multiple functions...not just the info about the product itself, but the transparency of the packaging leads the viewer to multiple visions of the value of the product. This in itself is of course not a bad idea; but when the product is of not much value, the packaging quickly gives the message of a super product ! shirts in plastic covers have an aura of a great brand which invites clients not to touch and feel the quality of the cloth but look and savour the beauty of the shirt which lies within and get enchanted with visions of wearing it...
